How I Can Help You

If you are considering Talking Therapy and surching for a therapist who is CURRENT AND PRESENT, you have been guided to the right place.

There maybe specific reasons you would like to explore, such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Low mood
  • Depression
  • Worry
  • Panic
  • and many others, please see section on services I offer for further details.

As a Talking Therapist I can help you to explore and look deeper into yourself and guide you to paying attention to your emotions, feelings, patterns of behaviour and develop strategies to support you with this.
Sometimes life's challenges are confusing and unsettling, and you may be struggling to deal with what life throws at you. This is especially the case at present as lockdown eases, which may further heighten the anxiety and uncertainty you may already be experiencing. Your priorities and way of life may have changed and this in turn might be affecting you in varied and often conflicting and confusing ways.

My approach is very different to other and have had an abundance of fantastic long term results. I offer you my warmth, empathy and compassion, without judgement, and I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you, as we navigate through even the most difficult times in your life. I am great at what I do, but more importantly I love what I do, seeing my clients grow and develop gives me the best joy.

Testimonials

"When I first started with Michelle 3 months ago I'll be honest I was so on the fence whether therapy was actually for me but I came to it with an open mind and willingness to heal, all that matter to me was to be better for myself and my children. On first meeting Michelle I knew instantly this was going to work, not only did Michelle make me feel safe, she also made me comfortable and not judged, Michelle warned me it's going to get bad to get better and she wasn't wrong.. the first few sessions were tough we dug deep to get to the root of many problems lol, but Michelle was there with me every step of the way pushing me guiding me and challenging me and at the time I thought wow this is so intense but I had to do it to be where I am today.. Michelle is an absolute Godsend to me, never in a million years did I ever think I would look forward to going to therapy.. I've laughed, cried, go on a bit of a rant haha but not once did I ever feel judged I honestly felt like I was talking to a friend...it has been an absolute pleasure to work with Michelle and by God will I miss the sessions. Michelle my lovely you saved me if it wasn't for you giving me the tools and methods to heal and to make me accept it isn't ok for how I've been treated I honestly don't know where I would be today. I cannot thank you enough. I owe you everything, thank you for being my rock, my strength and a great person these last few months, whilst I'm sad our time is over I'm so proud of what we both achieved, thank you so so much for me and my kids." - Charlotte
"I know I’ve expressed this during our final session but I just want to formalise my thoughts via email. You as a therapist and CBT as a process has given me my life back. Until I opened up to you, I didn’t even realise how much I had closed off to myself and how much I had avoided doing because it was too difficult and painful. Panic attacks are horrendous both physically and mentally and it’s easier to avoid situations that deal with them. You gave me so many strategies to break down those barriers - the stress ball, the affirmation cards, working out the tiny steps to achievement, breathing techniques, and the motivation to try. You celebrated every success I had and empowered me to keep trying. Asking me to write the letters was pivotal to my recovery. Instead of being a fearful victim, I became thankful to them for taking my life in a new direction. A life where I have time to enjoy my wonderful family. Of course I mourn the loss of my career but I now celebrate retirement. I know there isn’t a situation I can’t overcome, I just haven’t taken all the steps I need to succeed yet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." - Helen
