About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle, I am a highly experienced CBT Therapist and Life & Health Coach with over 20 years of expertise in the mental health field. My passion lies in empowering individuals to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Throughout my career, I have worked across NHS and private sectors, delivering evidence-based therapy in community settings, clinics, schools, family assessment units, and homes. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), complemented by a systemic and holistic perspective that addresses the broader influences on mental well-being.

I offer individual therapy, family therapy, parenting support, and systemic interventions, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. Whether working with individuals, families, or multi-disciplinary teams, I focus on practical strategies that foster emotional well-being, self-awareness, and long-term resilience.

I am deeply committed to helping people take control of their mental health, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and equipped with the tools to thrive.

As a therapist I can help you to explore and look deeper into yourself and guide you to paying attention to your emotions, feelings, patterns of behaviour and develop strategies to support you with this. Sometimes life's challenges are confusing and unsettling, and you may be struggling to deal with what life throws at you.

This is especially the case at present as lockdown eases, which may further heighten the anxiety and uncertainty you may already be experiencing. Your priorities and way of life may have changed and this in turn might be affecting you in varied and often conflicting and confusing ways.

My approach is very different to other and have had an abundance of fantastic long term results. I offer you my warmth, empathy and compassion, without judgement, and I welcome the opportunity to work alongside you, as we navigate through even the most difficult times in your life. I am great at what I do, but more importantly I love what I do, seeing my clients grow and develop gives me the best joy.

How I Work with my Clients

To accommodate clients' busy lifestyles or their preference to remain in the comfort of their home, my goal is to make talking therapy accessible to everyone. I work virtually using Google Meets, TEAMS, and Telephone.

Individual Therapy:

Initial Free Consultation - FREE (15 minutes)

Therapy Sessions - £90 (50 minutes)


Sessions are available Monday to Saturday, flexible session times available.

All calls and Initial Consultations are in the strictest confidence.

Payment

Payment for your therapy session is required at the end of each session and can be made by BACs transfer or card.

Cancellation

24 hours notice is required if you need to cancel an appointment. Cancellations without appropriate notice that being less than 24 hours will be charged at half the cost of the session.
